Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! Party

Hoy nos divertimos mucho en la fiesta de "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom." Hicimos coronas, jugamos Bingo, y probamos muchas comidas de coco. Gracias a todos los padres que colaboraron con la actividad!

Quiero compartir un consejo hoy que encontré en el sitio "Colorín Colorado." Es un sitio buenísimo y llena de consejos para ayudarles a sus hijos a triunfar en el colegio.


El consejo que les comparto hoy es acerca de la importancia de la lectura para el éxito en el colegio.


"Aliente a su niño a leer. Lo más importante que usted puede hacer para ayudarle a su niño a tener éxito en la escuela-y en la vida-es ayudarle a leer. No podemos enfatizar demasiado la importancia de la lectura. La lectura ayuda a los niños a superarse en todas sus materias. Acá hay unos ideas de como usar un libro de Biblioteca aunque sea en inglés:

1. Discutir las imágenes. Que nos dicen las imágenes del cuento y de que está pasando?

2. Buscar letras conocidas en las palabras.

3. Inventar el cuento. Pedirles a sus hijos que te cuentan que está pasando en el cuento.

4. Preguntar si les gustó el libro y por qué.
